New Features:
- New public licensing plan in Azure Marketplace
- A new Azure Managed Application (PaaS) licensing plan with Just-in-Time (JIT) access is now publicly available in Azure Marketplace, making deployment and governance simpler and more secure.
- Enhanced permission control: The PaaS deployment now supports read-only and selected-only permission modes, giving organizations greater flexibility and tighter control over who can access analytic data.
- Storage Level Security (SLS) is now available in preview mode.
- A new option allows you to obfuscate geolocation-related fields — Continent, Country, and City — helping organizations comply with privacy and data-protection requirements while retaining analytical value.
Power BI Updates
- Improved Custom Attributes handling: the use and performance of Custom Attributes within Power BI reports have been enhanced for smoother filtering and richer context in dashboards.
- Preview version of a new report: 'Pages'. This report allows you to analyze specific metrics for site pages, such as page views, likes, and comments.
- The map provider used in Power BI visuals has been updated to Azure Maps Visual, offering improved accuracy, performance, and a more modern visual experience.
